Talc powder processing process
The processing of talc powder typically involves several key steps to ensure purity, fineness, and consistency. First, high-quality talc ore is mined and carefully selected. The ore is then crushed and ground into smaller particles. Next, it undergoes flotation or other beneficiation processes to remove impurities. After purification, the material is finely milled using jet mills or roller mills to achieve the desired particle size. Finally, the powder is classified, filtered, and packaged for industrial or commercial use. Advanced processes may also include surface modification or micronization for specialized applications.
Hongree’s Technical Center oversees both R&D and quality assurance, providing expert support to all mining and processing units to ensure consistent, high-quality production. Working closely with customers, the center develops high-performance product grades tailored to meet evolving market needs—delivering effective, competitive solutions that drive customer satisfaction.
Quality control is carried out through four laboratories operating 24/7, staffed by 52 skilled professionals. Equipped with advanced instruments—including laser granulometers, particle size analyzers, colorimeters, LOI furnaces, and X-ray diffraction systems for asbestos detection—Hongree
ensures every batch meets strict quality standards. Comprehensive sample preparation tools such as crushers, pulverizers, and dryers support accurate and reliable testing.
